Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 facelift to be launched on May 20?
Facelift of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 is expected to be launched on May 20, 2019. The new bike could adopt the family design that we can expect to see on its older sibling as well, the Gixxer SF 250. This is confirmed by the spy images of a fully faired Suzuki motorcycle surfacing the internet. The leaked images could be of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 as it is not equipped with an ABS sensor on the rear wheel - also the alloys are the same units as the current model.

With sharp headlamp design and a new chiselled fairing, we can also expect the new Gixxer SF 155 to shed some weight. The new Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 will miss out on the handlebar setup and will sport clip-on - this will result in a more committed riding position.
We believe, the updates are just skin deep and the drive train of the bike will remain the same as before. The new motorcycle will be equipped with the same fuel-injected 155cc engine that produces 14.8PS at 8000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6000rpm. A carburettor variant could be on offer as well to keep the cost in check. The bike will get disc brake set up on either end but will get a single channel ABS (antilock braking setup).

Along with the faired motorcycle, we believe, similar updates will be seen on the Suzuki Gixxer 155 - the naked version, although, it will be revealed in the second half of 2019.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 155 will rival the Hero Xtreme 200S and the Yamaha R15 S. the new bike could see a premium of Rs 5,000 over the current bike's pricing.
