Surat gets its own Harley-Davidson dealership
In a bid to increase its presence in the ever-growing bike market, Harley-Davidson India has announced the opening of two new independent dealerships, Diamond City Harley-Davidson in Surat and Tusker Harley-Davidson in Bengaluru.
The Surat dealership is the second H-D showroom in Gujarat with Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson established in Ahmedabad since 2012. This brings up the number of authorised Harley-Davidson dealerships across India to 17.
The company says that the launch of these dealerships aids their strategic expansion plans as the brand is about to complete five years in the Indian market. The company wants to further expand its network of dealers and partners by establishing a substantial presence in tier 1 and 2 cities.

Tusker Harley-Davidson was among the first five dealerships to be opened in the country.They have further expanded their presence in Bengaluru. The newest dealerships claim to offer the entire Harley-Davidson India line-up of 13 motorcycle models, starting from a price of Rs 4.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Customers get a variety of options to customise their bikes, with a range spanning Harley-Davidson parts and accessories to apparel and merchandise.The Harley-Davidson Street 750 was recently crowned the Indian Motorcycle of the Year, 2015.
