Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo edition in the pipeline
Skoda Auto India has confirmed that a Monte Carlo edition of the Skoda Slavia sedan is in the works. The new version, which is anticipated to be released in the upcoming weeks and is most likely to be based on the highest-spec Style variation, may get aesthetic improvements and feature enhancements similar to those made to the Kushaq Monte Carlo edition.
The Slavia Monte Carlo version is anticipated to keep the sedan's mechanical components while receiving aesthetic upgrades. It is anticipated to come in two exterior colour options, red and white, as well as various blacked-out features, including the grille, roof, ORVMs, and the "Skoda Slavia". A new set of alloy wheels and a Monte-Carlo emblem on the front fenders may also be on the table.
The Skoda Slavia is available with a choice between two engines. The 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine makes 115PS with 178 Nm and is available with a choice between a six-speed manual gearbox and six-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, has 150PS with 250 Nm of torque. This powerplant comes with a seven-speed DSG automatic unit but is also available with a manual on the Skoda.
A completely digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a dual-tone black and red motif, and red inlays for different pieces are anticipated to be included inside the next Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo variant.
The Skoda Slavia competes with cars such as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, the Honda City, the Hyundai Verna and the Volkswagen Virtus.
