Skoda Slavia Matte Edition launched in India, prices start from Rs 15.12 lakh

Skoda has disclosed the costs of the Slavia Matte Edition after starting orders for the special edition car earlier this month. The Matte Edition is available with all current powertrain options and starts at Rs 15.52 lakh.

Skoda Slavia Matte Edition: Exterior

The exterior of the special edition Slavia is completed in a matte Carbon Steel shade, while the wing mirrors and door handles are coated in a gloss black shade. The chrome treatment on the grille, fog lamp garnish, and window surround, on the other hand, has been kept for contrast.

Nonetheless, the Skoda Slavia sedan is still available in a variety of enticing colours, including Crystal Blue, Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, and Lava Blue.

Skoda Slavia Matte Edition: Powertrain

The Skoda Slavia Matte Edition is available with two gasoline engines: a 1.0-litre TSI petrol and a 1.5-litre TSI petrol. The former produces 115PSp and 178Nm of torque, while the latter produces 150PS and 250Nm. A six-speed manual transmission, a torque converter, and a seven-speed DSG gearbox perform transmission tasks.

Skoda Slavia Matte Edition: Interior

A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system dominates the dashboard, which enables wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This function provides drivers and passengers with a world of entertainment, navigation, and communication. An eight-speaker sound system with a subwoofer improves the vehicle's audio quality. This sound system is neatly installed in the sedan's trunk, guaranteeing that every ride in the Slavia Matte Edition is acoustically attractive and entertaining.

The Skoda Slavia continues its rivalry with the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
