Skoda Octavia RS launched at 49.99 lakh
The Skoda Octavia RS has been launched for Rs 49.99 lakh and online bookings started on 6 October. India was allotted 100 units and they have all been booked already.

The Skoda Octavia RS is powered by 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, sending 245 PS and 370 Nm to the front wheels. It clocks 0100 kmph in about 6.7 seconds and tops out at an electronically limited 250 kmph. The Indian variant does not get the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), this feature alters the transmission, suspension damping and steering on the move while analysing the terrain for better handling.
In terms of features, the Skoda Octavia RS gets a 10.25-inch digital driver's dash, a 11-speaker Canton sound system, a 360-degree camera, a 13-inch central infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 3-zone auto climate control, all-black cabin with red stitching, cruise control, powered tailgate, a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, a wireless charger, head-up display, ambient lighting, LED Matrix headlamps, 10-airbags and ADAS suite.
The exterior features include a blacked-out grille with an RS badge, matrix LED headlights, blacked-out exhaust tip, sleek rear lamp units, a shark fin antenna, body coloured pull out door handles, 19-inch aero-optimised wheel, and an integrated spoiler on the boot lid.
Skoda Octavia RS measures 4,709mm in length, 1,829mm in width and 1,457mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,677mm. It offers a 600-litre boot space, expandable to 1,555-litres, with a fuel tank capacity of 50L, and a kerb weight of 1,528kg.
The Skoda Octavia RS is offered in five colour options - Candy White, Magic Black, Mamba Green, Race Blue and Velvet Red. The Octavia locks horns with the likes of the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
