Skoda has introduced the Octavia facelift, showcasing a refreshed and sportier design, coupled with a premium and minimalist interior, updated engines with mild-hybrid assistance, and additional features. The revamped Octavia is offered in both sedan and estate body styles.
Skoda Octavia facelift: Exterior design
The key design changes include a redesigned front fascia with a new grille, headlights, and bumper. The vehicle now features second-generation LED Matrix headlights with angular V-shaped daytime driving lights and a unique crystalline element named "Crystallinium" in the headlight housing. The rear boasts reworked taillamps and bumper, along with a range of new wheel styles varying from 16 to 19 inches.
Skoda Octavia facelift: Interior & features
Inside, the cabin draws inspiration from the Superb and Kodiaq, presenting a dual-tone theme with silver accents, a new steering wheel, and eco-friendly leather upholstery crafted from recycled fabrics and renewable materials. While the cabin maintains an uncluttered appearance with sleek AC vents and a large floating touchscreen, it misses the new Skoda Smart Dials found in recent models.
The Octavia facelift's interior features a 10-inch central information hub with ChatGPT support (optional 13-inch unit), a 10-inch driver display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, powered front seats with heating and cooling functions, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, hi-fi sound system, dual-zone temperature control, wireless phone charging pad, multiple airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX points, and ADAS.
Skoda Octavia facelift: Engine specifications
Under the bonnet, the Octavia facelift offers a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with two power options (115PS/220Nm and 150PS/250Nm), optionally available with mild-hybrid technology and DSG. The facelift also includes a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor with all-wheel-drive, producing 204PS and 320Nm, and a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine exclusive to the RS version, delivering 265PS and 370Nm. Additionally, a 2.0-litre diesel engine is available with two power outputs: 116PS/300Nm and 150PS/360Nm. Transmission options include a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The 2.0-litre diesel engine with AWD and 2.0-litre unit used for the Octavia RS now delivers 14PS and 20PS more power than before.
