Skoda launches limited-edition Rapid Leisure at Rs 7.79 lakh
Czech automaker Skoda has launched the special-edition Rapid Leisure for the Indian market. The Leisure version of Skoda's successful compact sedan, the Rapid, will feature special badging and a host of other value additions.
The Rapid is known for its blend of dynamic handling and refined engineering. Additional features on the Rapid Leisure include a portable navigation system with rear-view camera, rear parking sensors and 15-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, it has door sill covers and plush leather seat covers.

The Rapid Leisure edition will be available in both 1.6-litre petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be available in both manual and automatic transmission while the diesel will have manual only. The petrol variant has maximum power of 105PS @ 5250rpm with maximum torque of 153Nm. The diesel variant has maximum power of 105PS @4400rpm with maximum torque of 250Nm.
The new Rapid Leisure is priced at Rs 7.79 lakh for the 1.6MPI manual variant. The 1.6MPI automatic and 1.6TDI are priced respectively at Rs 8.79 lakh and Rs 9.06 lakh (ex-Showroom Delhi). This special edition will be available across the country for a limited period only.
