Skoda auto announced a 234 percent rise in sales in the month of July compared to the same month last year. In July 2021, the firm sold 3,080 vehicles, up from 922 in July 2020.

In June 2021, 734 units were sold, representing a 320 percent increase in July 2021 sales over June 2021. According to the company's plan, the rise in sales is being fueled by the debut of Kushaq, which will be one of the brand's key growth drivers in the future.

With the rollout of the 'India 2.0' plan, which began with the debut of the Kushaq, 2021 will be a pivotal year for Skoda auto in India. The 1.0L Kushaq began shipping to customers in mid-July, while the 1.5L engine will hit the dealerships later in August.

The Kushaq has already gotten close to 6,000 bookings in a month and is generating a lot of buzz among consumers all around the country. Greater customer involvement is resulting in increased volumes across the board, including Superb, Octavia, and Rapid.

The effect has been seen throughout the dealer community. More than 200 dealership applications have been received from potential partners who want to be a part of the brand's expansion in India. This comprises both new and current dealers who wish to capitalise on the brand's recognition and expand their operations.

In July 2021, Skoda Auto India increased its network footprint by about 15 percent. This has been made possible by a deliberate effort to extend the network, which was a key component of the Kushaq launch plan.

Skoda auto India has unveiled its Peace of Mind Campaign, which is aimed at customers and is built on four pillars - cost of ownership, customer reach, convenience and transparency. The firm intends to expand its after-sales products through this effort, giving customers an unrivalled ownership experience.
