Skoda Kodiaq India specifications leaked
Skoda India will launch the all-new Kodiaq SUV in India on October 4, 2017. While there have been many technical briefings that Skoda India has done with us journalists, there was one bit of the jigsaw that was missing. No, we aren't talking about the price. That will be given out only on the aforementioned date. A leaked image shows the new Skoda Kodiaq's technical specifications. The new Skoda Kodiaq uses a 150PS/340Nm 2.0-litre TDi engine that is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. The claimed fuel efficiency of the Skoda Kodiaq is 16.25kmpl. The India-spec Skoda Kodiaq will have a 140mm ground clearance, which according to the new rules is based on gross vehicle weight and not unladen. The Skoda Kodiaq is a 7-seater and has a wheelbase of 2,791mm. The boot capacity of the Skoda Kodiaq is 270 litres and with the seats down, it can be increased to 2005 litres. Fuel tank capacity of the Skoda Kodiaq is 63 litres. While the leaked image doesn't mention if there is a 4x4 being offered with the Skoda Kodiaq for India, we believe the Czech company will offer it on the SUV.

Features of the Skoda Kodiaq include full LED headlamps, LED fog lights, LED tail lamps, 18-inch alloys, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink-enabled 8.0-inch touchscreen system, three-zone climate control and various innovative storage spaces in the cabin. The Skoda Kodiaq will compete with the Volkswagen Tiguan, Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner in terms of pricing. We expect the Skoda Kodiaq to be priced at Rs 30 lakh
