Skoda India introduces more extensive SuperCare maintainance package
Skoda India has revamped its maintenance and service packages. The new aftersales program is now called SuperCare and incorporates preventive maintenance and wear-and-tear repair work as well for up to four years. Prices start at Rs 29,999.
Valid for four years or 60,000 km, three categories can be chosen from Standard, Enhanced, and Comprehensive. The Standard package covers the replacement/service of engine oil, oil filter, drain plug, washer, air/pollen/fuel filter, spark plug, brake fluid, V belt, Haldex coupling oil, ATF, etc. as per the manufacturer maintenance schedule. The Enhanced package adds front windshield wipers, front and rear brake pads and disc, etc. coverage while the Comprehensive package further includes the battery, flywheel, and clutch assembly i.e. the clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing.
New Skoda customers can avail of this package within one year of purchasing the vehicle, or before their first service. Existing Skoda customers can avail of SuperCare' for 2 years or 30,000 km, at a starting price of Rs 15,777. Skoda says that this package will safeguard against spare part price and labour charge inflation, guarantee authentic fitments with two years or unlimited kilometres part warranty and assures that the job is done by Skoda certified technicians.
SkodaCare can be redeemed at all authorised Skoda dealers, with multiple payment and cashless service options available. Further, this package can be transferred to the next owner if the car is sold while the package is still active.
