Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 accessories explained

The new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is the newest addition to the 650 family. Based on the Super Meteor 650, the bobber-style motorcycle made its first public debut at 2023 Motoverse in Vagator, Goa. While the Shotgun 650 is yet to go on sale in the country, here we shed some light on a wide range of accessories. We expect Royal Enfield to announce prices of all the accessories at the time of the launch, which is likely to take place in January 2024.

To start with, the Shotgun 650 accessory list comprises a small fly screen, a pull bar-style handlebar, auxiliary lights (available either in chrome or black), two distinct mirror sets, including a pair of bar-end mirrors, LED indicators (black or white), two different pairs of bar-end weights, four types engine crash guards (two powered coated and other two sets with chrome finish), two distinctive underbelly bash plates, two pair of different handlebar mounts, cushioned rider and pillion seats, comfort footpegs for both rider and pillion, new dual-tone alloy wheels,

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Features and Specs

The Shotgun 650 comes equipped with the Super Meteor 650-like semi-digital cluster with Tripper navigation, a slip-and-assist clutch, dual-channel ABS, upside down front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, single disc brake setup at both ends, and LED headlight and taillight.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Colours and Powertrain

The bobber-style motorcycle will be available in four shades: Stencil White, Plasma Blue, Green Drill, and Sheetmetal Grey. It is powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin air/oil-cooled engine producing 47PS and 52.3Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Pricing

We expect the Shotgun 650 to go on sale in the country at the beginning of 2024. Notably, the prices of the motorcycle could start from Rs 3.30-3.40 lakh. The prices of the INT 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650 start from Rs 3.02 lakh, Rs 3.18 lakh and Rs 3.54 lakh (all ex-showroom), respectively.
