Royal Enfield launches 2023 Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 with alloy wheels

Royal Enfield has launched the long-awaited 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in India with sticker prices of Rs 3,03,000 and Rs 3,19,000 (both ex-showroom, Chennai), respectively. The brand has also opened its order books for the updated motorcycles in the country.

2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650: What is new?

To begin with, the 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 get much-anticipated new variants with cast alloy variants with tubeless tyres. 

In addition, the Interceptor 650 is now available in four new paint schemes: Black Pearl and Cali Green, along with two blacked-out colours, namely Barcelona Blue and Black Ray. These new shades are offered alongside the existing Sunset Stripe, Canyon Red, and Mark 2. On the other hand, the 2023 Continental GT 650 now features two blacked-out paint jobs, namely Apex Grey and Slipstream Blue. Notably, Royal Enfield continues to provide it with British Racing Green, Rocker Red, Mr Clean, and Dux Deluxe.

The black-out Barcelona Blue, Black Ray, Slipstream Blue, and Apex Grey colours on the 650 pair get black-painted elements, such as engine covers and exhausts. Additionally, the said black-out versions come equipped with cast alloy wheels and tubeless tyres as standard.

Furthermore, the two-wheeler marque has bestowed the 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 with an LED headlamp, new switchgear inspired by the Hunter 350, Meteor 350, and Super Meteor 650; a USB charging socket.

2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650: Engine

The 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 continue to be powered by the 648cc, parallel twin, oil-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. This motor generates 47.45PS and 52.3Nm of torque.
