Royal Enfield says that the 1960s cafe racer was the main inspiration behind making the Continental GT. The GT boasts of a typical cafe racer styling with a low profile fuel tank with knee recesses. The seat is a flat unit and can be ordered in single or twin-seater configurations and contrast stitching. The clip-on handle bar is placed low with relation to the fuel tank and has optional rear view mirrors placed at the bar-end. There is an upswept exhaust on offer as well. Pirelli Sport Demons are the choice of rubber for the Continental GT and bringing this motorcycle to halt are Brembo disc brake units. Handling the suspension duties are 41mm forks at the front and Paioli twin-charged gas shockers.
