Renault Kwid Neotech edition launched in India, prices start from Rs 4.30 lakh
Renault India has launched a new dual-tone, limited-edition variant of the Renault Kwid hatchback. Prices for this Renault Kwid Neotech edition start from Rs 4.3 lakh for the 800cc MT version. The 1.0-litre manual and 1.0-litre AMT version of the Kwid Neotech hatchback are priced at Rs 4.52 lakh and Rs 4.84 lakh, ex-showroom. The Neotech edition Kwid is based on the mid-spec RXT variant.
The Kwid Neotech is available in two dual-tone paint schemes - Zanskar Blue body with Silver roof and Silver body with Zanskar Blue roof. Other exterior upgrades are 3D decals on the C-pillar, Neotech door claddings, chrome embellishments on the grille, B-pillar taping. On the inside, there are blue inserts and stitching in the seat fabric.
Notable features available in this edition are an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, keyless entry with central locking, power steering, front power windows (rear optional), reversing camera and intermittent wipers.
The Renault Kwid can be had with two engines. The base 800cc motor makes 54PS at 5,678 rpm and 72 Nm at 4386 rpm and pairs with a five-speed manual. The 1.0-litre unit adds a 5-speed AMT option and puts out 68PS at 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm at 4,250 rpm.
Prices for the Renault Kwid start at Rs 3.0 lakh for the base Standard version and go up to Rs 5.13 lakh for the top 1.0 RXZ Climber AMT. Renault India is also offering the Kwid with an extended warranty plan of upto five years and 1,00,000 km.
