Raheesh Khatri becomes first Indian to participate in 2024 British Talent Cup
Wilson Racing, a renowned name in motorsports has announced the signing of Raheesh Khatri for the fourthcoming 2024 season of the British Talent Cup. With this, Raheesh has become the first Indian racer to join the prestigious British Talent Cup, competing against 30 top racers from the UK, USA, New Zealand, and India. In the 2024 season, Raheesh will represent Wilson Racing, a team with over 39 years of experience in racing under Gary's leadership. Riding the Honda NSF250R, Raheesh will compete in the British Talent Cup, with Round 1 scheduled in Spain on April 20th and 21st, followed by 7 rounds in the UK.
Raheesh Khatri became India's youngest motocross racer at 6 and set records in drag racing, earning the title of the 'Holeshot King'. He has won over 100 trophies and medals, including the 2022 Honda India Talent Cup. Alongside the British Talent Cup, he will compete in the Honda Racing India Talent Cup 2024, consisting of 5 rounds in India.
The aspiring racer's strategic plan outlines his ambition to conquer various championships, including the Asia Talent Cup, European Talent Cup, and aiming to become the first Indian to race in the prestigious RedBull Rookies Cup. The ultimate racing championship, MotoGP, is also on his list.
