'Born of Greatness' - The Powerful and Bold Suzuki Gixxer 250 Debuts in India

Enticing riders with a perfect amalgamation of performance, style and thrill, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd (SMIPL), a subsidiary of the two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan, launched the powerful GIXXER 250 today. The motorcycle is the latest addition to the GIXXER portfolio and is extremely agile and fun to ride.

To deliver serious riding fun added with adrenaline rush Suzuki GIXXER 250 has a powerful 249cc, Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) four-stroke, single-cylinder fuel injection SOHC engine offering refined performance, along with easy to handle chassis developed exclusively for Indian market. SOCS technology adopted by the motorcycle was originally designed for GSX-R has a proven power legacy.

The newly developed engine produces 26.5ps@9000 rpm and 22.6Nm@7500 rpm power. Six-speed gearbox delivers a hassle-free ride. Suzuki GIXXER 250 is equipped with Dual channel Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) offering better braking efficiency.

Inspired by the latest European design, Suzuki GIXXER 250 has embraced trapezoidal body proportions that instils charismatic character to the motorcycle. Equipped with futuristic LED headlamp and stylish tail lamp, a sporty dual muffler, brushed finish alloy wheels and newly designed digital speedometer imparts the aggressive style to Suzuki GIXXER 250.

Furthermore, Suzuki GIXXER 250 is an exciting proposition with a new bronze engine cover, an under cowl, exclusive muffler end cap design and wheels with machine finish. The newly launched Suzuki GIXXER 250 is available in two colour schemes – combination of Metallic Matte Platinum Silver/ Metallic Matte Black; and a Metallic Matte Black colour retailing at a price of INR 159,800 (ex-showroom Delhi).
