Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition launched in India at Rs 84.93 lakh
Porsche's Cayenne Platinum Edition is now available for sale in India. The new edition is priced at Rs 86.50 lakh ex-Delhi and Rs 84.93 lakh ex-Maharashtra.
So what's different about the Platinum Edition? For starters, there are many standard features which include Sport Design steering wheel with paddle shifters, Porsche Steering Plus, navigation system with Porsche Communication Management and 19-inch Cayenne Design II wheels with a coloured crest. Other than this, as the name suggests, there are accents done in platinum silver metallic colour on the side air intake grilles and centre, rear spoiler lip, side windows and on the tailgate. Apart from the black and white standard exterior colours, there are black metallic, grey metallic and mahogany metallic colours available. Exclusive to this special edition also is the white metallic paint finish.
2014 Porsche Platinum Edition
Inside the cabin, the upholstery is done in a two-tone partial leather black-beige combination. The headrests come with the Porsche crest, stainless steel front door entry guards and floor mats embossed with the Platinum Edition script.
The Cayenne Platinum Edition is available with the 245PS diesel engine.

| The Porsche SUV model range in India receives an attractive addition with the introduction of the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition. This exclusive variant boasts unique exterior design features in Platinum Silver and a wider range of standard equipment. Comprising many of the most requested customisation options as standard, the new Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition model accentuates the appeal of Porsche's luxury SUV even further, whereas the enriched equipment range is especially designed to increase comfort and desirability. Standard features of the new Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition model include, among others, the Sport Design steering wheel with paddle shifters, 19-inch Cayenne Design II wheels with coloured crest, Power Steering Plus and the Porsche Communication Management (PCM), which incorporates a navigation module. Monotone exterior paint finishes in Black and White come as standard, while Meteor Grey Metallic, Jet Black Metallic and Mahogany Metallic are available as additional colour options. Offered exclusively for this Cayenne edition is the Carrara White Metallic paint finish. The Black Luxor Beige two-tone partial leather interior combination is also reserved for this model. Headrests embossed with the Porsche crest, floor mats and stainless steel front door entry guards with the "Platinum Edition" script put the finishing touches on the interior. Featuring a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine, the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition delivers 245 hp. The new model is available at Porsche Centres in India as of today.
