The Chinese company Zhejiang Youngman and Spyker intend to develop a range of cars based on the Phoenix platform, which was under development at Saab before its closure. The new platform underpinned the Saab Phoenix concept car at last year's Geneva Motor Show. The new plan is for the cars to be called Spyker Phoenix but it is not clear whether they will be able to use BMW engines, as Saab had intended.
