Peugeot launches limited edition RCZ Red Carbon editions in UK
Peugeot has launched the RCZ 'Red Carbon' limited edition in the UK. Only 300 examples of these cars will be made with prices starting from 26,000 pounds (Rs 26,44,954). The cars are available in only Moroccan red and Nera black colours.

The limited edition is based on the Sport model and gets a 'Vision Pack' and 'Black Pack' as standard. The Vision Pack includes Xenon directional and self-levelling headlamps and 19-inch Solstice alloy wheels which can have onyx matt black finish. The 'Black Pack' brings with it a black - front grille, door mirror covers, brake calipers and roof arches.

The 'Red Carbon' edition has a choice of two petrol and one diesel engine. The petrol is a 1.6-litre unit which is available in 158PS and 202PS guise. The gearbox of choice for both the models is a six-speed manual transmission. The 158PS variant does the 0-100kmph sprint in 8.3 seconds while the 200PS does the same in just 7.6 seconds. The oil burner is a 2.0-litre HDi unit developing 165PS of max power and completes the 0-100kmph run in 8.7 seconds with its six-speed manual box. Speaking of fuel efficiency the petrol units in their 158PS and 200PS forms give a combined average of 15.61kmpl and 14.9kmpl respectively. The diesel, as always is better, delivering 19.22kmpl in the combined cycle.

The interior gets Peugeot Connect Navigation (RT6) that takes care of your entertainment and navigational requirements. The audio system has CD, USB and Bluetooth compatibility.
