Ola sell Rs 1,100 crore worth of electric scooters in only two days of opening sales

Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric has claimed that Ola has now sold Rs 1,100 crore worth of Ola electric scooters.

Bhavish Aggarwal took to Twitter stating that "Day 2 of EV era was even better than Day 1! Crossed ?1100Cr in sales in 2 days! Purchase window will reopen on Nov 1 so reserve now if you haven't already. Thank you India for the love & trust. You are the revolution!"

This news comes off the backend that Ola claimed to have sold Rs 600 crore worth of Ola S1 electric scooters yesterday. Ola Electric claims to have sold four scooters every second in the first 24 hours. According to reports, the scooters sold are worth more than the whole two-wheeler industry sells in a single day.

Customers of the Ola electric scooter who paid the token amount of Rs 499, had to pay Rs 20,000 as advance to complete to pre-order of their S1 or S1 Pro scooter. Ola has now stopped taking any more orders but still keep the window to reserve your scooter open on the Ola Electric website.

The purchase window will open up on November 1, 2021, just in time to boost the sales of Ola for the festival of Diwali.

The Ola S1 electric scooter starts at Rs 99,999 and the S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). EMI's for the Ola S1 starts at Rs 2,999 whereas the EMIs for Ola S1 Pro starts at Rs 3,199.
