Emissions scandal: Fiat under scanner for irregularities in tests
German emissions regulator Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) is currently investigating Fiat for irregular emissions results. It has been reported that the KBA found irregularities in emissions levels of Fiat's diesel engines after they were made to run for more than 20 minutes. Read more on the investigation here.
Ford takes the wraps off new EcoBlue diesel engine
Ford has unveiled an all-new 2.0-litre EcoBlue engine which the carmaker says says offers improved performance, efficiency and emissions over the outgoing 2.2-litre TDCi engine. The engine will be offered in a multitude of power tunes at 105PS, 130PS and 170PS. More details on the new engine here.
2016 Beijing Motor Show: Next-gen Audi A4 L unveiled
Audi has unveiled their next-gen long-wheelbase A4 which has a 40mm longer wheelbase than the outgoing A4 L. It is also 110kg lighter than its predecessor and has a drag coefficient of 0.23. The Audi A4 L will be offered to buyers with a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-4 petrol engine in two states of tune-192PS and 255PS. Get all details on the A4L here.
Preview: Renault Kaptur
Renault is expected to launch the Kaptur in Russia by June or August 2016.
