Oben Electric set to launch next-gen Rorr EZ on 5th August
Oben Electric is set to launch the next-generation Rorr EZ on 5th August 2025.
Rorr EZ delivers an IDC range of up to 175 km, fast charging to 80 per cent starting from 45 minutes and reaches a top speed of 95 kmph. The charging time for a full charge is two hours and the acceleration from a standstill to 40 kmph is in 3.3 seconds.
The upcoming model will continue to be powered by Oben's proprietary high-performance LFP battery technology that claims for 50 per cent higher heat resistance and extended lifespan.
Bookings for the new Rorr EZ will open on the day of launch, and deliveries are scheduled to begin from 15th August 2025. The company is offering an eight year or 80,000 km warranty on the battery along with 24x7 customer support. Upon launch the Oben Rorr EZ will rival the likes of the Revolt RV 400, TVS iQube, Ola S1 Pro to name a few.
