Nissan India witness a 323 percent increase in sales for 2021
Nissan India has reached a domestic wholesale of 3,010 vehicles for the Nissan and Datsun brands in December 2021, thanks to the successful introduction of the all-new Nissan Magnite. For the last month of 2021, Nissan India had a 159 percent increase in its domestic market.
Nissan India has sold 27,965 automobiles domestically in 2021, compared to 6,609 vehicles in 2020 year to date, a 323 percent increase and 28,582 vehicles internationally, compared to 17,785 vehicles in 2020 year to date, a 61 percent increase.
Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Ltd. said, "Nissan has cumulative growth of 323% in spite of the challenges of Covid-19 & semiconductor shortages affecting supplies, we have delivered 35000 plus Big, Bold, Beautiful Nissan Magnite, the game changer SUV continues to have strong booking momentum, with 31% of the 77000 plus bookings coming from the Digital eco-system. Going forward with the support of the supply chain our endeavor will be to maintain this growth momentum for the upcoming months & to continue to deliver value to the customers with the lowest cost of ownership towards customer assurance."
Nissan launched the 'Convenience of Doorstep Service' and 'Pick-up and Drop-off' services of Nissan automobiles to and from dealerships with the health and safety of its customers in mind, reducing the danger of infection and minimising disturbances in customers' schedules. The 'Nissan Express Servicing', on the other hand, provides a speedy and thorough service experience in just 90 minutes.
Nissan India also unveiled a first-in-industry revolutionary Virtual Sales Advisor for Nissan Magnite clients earlier this month as part of its digital platform Shop@home, in order to improve consumers' car-buying experience.
