Nissan announces unveiling of a new pick-up (video)
Nissan isn't the first name that comes to mind when you think pick-ups but the Japanese company has been making them for 80 years now. Nissan is celebrating this with the unveiling of a new pick-up truck that will happen on June 11 this year. The company has just released a teaser image and a video of this new pick up on twitter.
From the video a few things that are clear - The new pick up will be running LED day time lamps and there's a big Nissan family grille upfront that seems to be finished in chrome or in a light metallic finish. This vehicle could be a new generation of the Nissan Frontier or Navara as it is known in different markets.
It is unlikely that this vehicle will make it to India as our market is still in a very nascent stage for pick-up vehicles. But then again Isuzu seems to think that India has the potential to be one of the world's biggest pick-up markets in the next few years.
