New technical centre inaugurated by Honda in India
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd have inaugurated its new technical centre at its Manesar facility. With the start of this technical centre, Honda officials have said that they will be now localising components on a heavy scale for making their two wheelers. Honda's entire two wheeler research and development facility in India will shift to this centre. The company is also looking at making India its global two wheeler hub and will introduce newer models here according to the local needs.
Speaking on this Keita Muramatsu â" president & CEO, HMSI said "The new technical centre shall standardize, optimize & synergize our 'glocalized' approach in India with Honda's cutting edge R&D capabilities across the globe and a deep understanding of local environment to give mobility to a billion Indians at a faster pace."
