New Tata Harrier special edition spotted with red design elements
Tata Motors appears to be readying a new special-edition version of the Harrier. A distinctive model with red design inserts was recently spotted at a dealer facility, indicating the probable launch soon. Meanwhile, the Harrier is available in a choice of three special-edition options: Dark, Jet, and Kaziranga.
If the spy photos are to go by, the Harrier special edition seems identical to the Dark Edition but features flashy red inserts on the outside. Notably, the radiator grille and front red brake calipers get the red highlights. The alloy wheels could come with a jet-black paint job like other variants of the SUV.
The new special-edition model bears a new seat upholstery in a bright shade of red. The door handles and armrest feature also comes with red accents. This upcoming model is likely to carry the same features as the top-spec Harrier. However, it would not be surprising if Tata offers it with a handful of new features.
The new Tata Harrier special edition is expected to be powered by the 2.0-litre, inline-four, turbocharged diesel engine producing 170PS and 350Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
