New Maruti Suzuki Fronx to be launched soon

Maruti Suzuki is readying several new cars to launch in the coming months and the all-new Fronx is one of them. It made its debut at the Auto Expo 2023 alongside the hotly anticipated Jimny. The Fronx has started arriving at dealerships ahead of its expected launch in the coming weeks. Notably, its bookings are already underway at Rs 11,000 in the country.

New Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Powertrain

The highlight of the upcoming Fronx will be the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine producing 100PS and 148Nm of torque. This motor will be mated to a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. In addition, Maruti will offer a 1.2-litre, inline-four, naturally aspirated Dual Jet and Dual VVT petrol unit that makes 90PS and 113Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a five-speed manual or AMT transmission. It is to be noted that the 1.0-litre Boosterjet is linked to a progressive smart hybrid technology.

New Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Variants and Colours

Upon launch, the Fronx will be available in five variants: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Moreover, it will be offered in six mono-tone colour options: Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Opulent Red, Earthen Brown, Grandeur Grey, and Splendid Silver. In addition to these mono-tone options, Maruti will offer three dual-tone paint jobs: Opulent Red with Bluish Black, Earthen Brown with Bluish Black, and Splendid Silver with Bluish Black.

New Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Features and Safety Equipment

The Fronx will come fitted with numerous features, such as a heads-up display, 360deg camera, reverse parking sensors, nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Pro+, six-speaker Arkamys sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, OTA updates, wireless phone charger, paddle shifters, cruise control, Suzuki Connect with Amazon Alexa, smartwatch connectivity, LED headlamps, and Type-A and Type-C USB sockets. Additionally, it will get an ESP, hill hold assist, six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, ABS, and EBD, among others.
