After introducing the 390 Adventure X, KTM is now readying a new low-seat height variant, dubbed the 390 Adventure V, to join the 390 Adventure line-up in India. While the brand launched the more affordable 390 Adventure X to attract new customers, this new low-seat variant will target shorter riders. Notably, the new adventure motorcycle has already reached at a few dealerships. Thus, we expect KTM to launch the new 390 Adventure V in the country in the coming weeks.

New KTM 390 Adventure V: Details

The upcoming 390 Adventure V will repeatedly borrow its suspension setup from the Duke 390. Therefore, the suspension travel is likely to be 142mm at the front and 150mm at the rear compared to 177mm front and 170mm rear of the standard model. With this, the 390 Adventure V could have an 830mm seat height, which is considerably lower than the standard model's 855mm seat height. Not to mention, expect the lower suspension setup to result in lower ground clearance.

New KTM 390 Adventure V: Features

The 390 Adventure is likely to benefit from all the bells and whistles like the standard 390 Adventure. It will get a five-inch colour TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, traction control system, a slipper clutch, riding modes, a USB socket, all-LED lights, cornering ABS, a bidirectional quick-shifter, dual-channel ABS, and ride-by-throttle.

New KTM 390 Adventure V: Engine

Powering the KTM 390 Adventure V will be the 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 43.5PS at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. Coupled to the motor is a six-speed gearbox. Notably, this engine complies with the BS6 phase-2 emission norms.

KTM 390 Adventure with spoked wheels

In other news, the Austrian two-wheeler manufacturer recently unveiled the 390 Adventure with the much-anticipated spoked wheels. KTM India has already teased the new off-road-oriented 390 Adventure, hinting at the launch is just around the corner. Upon its launch, the 390 Adventure line-up in India will be available in four distinctive models: the standard 390 Adventure, 390 Adventure X, 390 Adventure V, and 390 Adventure spoke wheels. The latter could also get a new suffix like the 'X' and 'V'.
