New Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen variant launched: Top highlights
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles recently launched the new 42 Bobber Red Sheen variant in India at Rs 2.29 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new colour option is now available at the same price as the Black Mirror paint job variant that was introduced a few months ago. It is also available in Jasper Red, Moonstone White, Mystic Copper, and Black Mirror colours.
The new Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen features a dual-tone paint scheme comprising red and chrome shades on the fuel tank. Additionally, it gets diamond-cut alloy wheels with a benefit of tubeless tyres. Apart from that, the 42 Bobber Red Sheen is identical to the on-sale model.
A few months ago, the 42 Bobber was given a major mechanical update with redesigned engine and gear covers, a larger throttle body, an update fuel map, lower idling RPM at 1,350rpm, and tweaked rear monoshock.
Further, the Jawa 42 Bobber is equipped with an LED headlamp, a charging port, a digital cluster, two-step height adjustable seat, single-disc brake setup at both ends, slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS. Besides that, the retro-style motorcycle continues with the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine coupled to a six-speed gearbox. This motor generates 29.9PS and 32.7Nm of torque.
Meanwhile, the price of the Jawa 42 Bobber starts from Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350.
