Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the new 42 Bobber Black Mirror in India at Rs 2,25,187 (ex-showroom). It is costlier by Rs 10,000 than the on-sale 42 Bobber variant. While the new range-topping variant features various updates, it stands out with its unique paint scheme. With upcoming festivities in mind, the new 42 Bobber Black Mirror could boost sales for the bike maker in India.

New Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror: Highlights

First up, the new 42 Bobber Black Mirror adorns a chrome-finished fuel tank. The flashy fuel tank goes hand in hand with its diamond-cut alloy wheels and contrasting black design elements, such as engine, exhaust, front forks, front and rear mudguards, side panels, mirrors, and handlebar. Although it largely remains the same as the current model, the 2023 42 Bobber Black Mirror appears striking in the new colour scheme.

Further, Jawa has redesigned the engine and gear covers and given it a new throttle body of 38mm, which is larger compared to the old 33mm unit. In terms of the engine, the new 42 Bobber Black Mirror gets an update fuel map, while the bike maker has lowered the idling RPM from 1,500 to 1,350rpm. Additionally, the rear monoshock has been tweaked for improved damping. Another notable addition, along with the new alloy wheels, is tubeless tyres. Interestingly, the existing Jawa 42 Bobber owners can opt for the new alloy wheels as an optional accessory.

The 42 Bobber continues with an LED headlight, a digital console, slip and assist clutch, height adjustable seat, single-disc brake setup at both ends, dual-channel ABS, and a charging port. Meanwhile, the 42 Bobber is also available in Jasper Red, Moonstone White, and Mystic Copper paint jobs.

New Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror: Engine

The new 42 Bobber comes powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine coupled to a six-speed gearbox. This motor generates 29.9PS and 32.7Nm of torque.
