New Jawa 350 launched in India at Rs 2.15 lakh
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles introduced the new Jawa 350 in India today for Rs 2,14,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle boasts a new chassis, engine, and a fresh colour scheme. It commands about Rs 12,000 premium over the motorcycle it is based on.
2024 Jawa 350: What is new?
First up, the new Jawa 350 gets a dual-cradle frame, also resulting in a longer wheelbase, taller seat height, and higher ground clearance compared to the Jawa Standard. For reference, it has a wheelbase of 1,449mm. The seat height has gone up to 802mm, while the ground clearance stands at 178mm. In contrast, its predecessor's seat height and ground clearance were 765mm and 165mm, respectively. Additionally, the Jawa 350 benefits from wider tyres - 100/90 18 section at the front and 130/80 17 section at the rear. With this, the weight of the Jawa 350 now stands at 194kg as against 182kg of the Jawa Standard.
Although the design of the neo-retro motorcycle remains largely the same as the Jawa Standard, the brand has also given it a new Mystique Orange. Whereas Black and Maroon colours have been carried forward.
2024 Jawa 350: Engine, power outputs, and gearbox
The crux of the Jawa 350 is the new 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. This motor makes 22.5PS at 7,000rpm and 28.1Nm of torque at 5,00rpm.
2024 Jawa 350: Features and specifications
The Jawa 350 features telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, a 280mm at the front, a 240mm disc at the rear, assist-and-slipper clutch, and dual channel ABS. It has a fuel tank capacity of 13.2 litres.
2024 Jawa 350: Rivals
