New Hyundai Venue Executive variant launched at Rs 10 lakh
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched the new entry-level variant of the Venue, called Executive, at Rs 9,99,990 (ex-showroom). This new variant is cheaper by Rs 40,000 than the S (O) Turbo. On the other hand, the Turbo S (O) variant now gets two new features as well and is available in a choice of manual and automatic transmission option.
Hyundai Venue Executive: Highlights
The new Venue Executive variant comes with 16-inch wheels, dark chrome front grille, roof rails and shark fin antenna, 'Executive' logo on the tailgate, front centre armrest with storage, two-step rear reclining seats, 60:40 split rear seat, adjustable headrests for all passengers, auto headlamps, eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, all-digital instrument cluster with colour TFT MID, steering mounted controls, cruise control, rear air-con vents, and rear wiper with washer.
In terms of safety equipment, Hyundai has given it six airbags, three-point seat belts with seat belt reminder for all seats, Electronic-Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle-Stability Management (VSM), hill assist control (HAC), and TPMS, among others.
Powering the Venue Executive is the 1.0-litre, inline three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine producing 120PS and 172Nm of torque. It comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Hyundai Venue S (O) new features
Apart from that, Hyundai has updated the feature list of the Venue S (O) Turbo, offering an electric sunroof and map lamps for driver and passenger. Equipped with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor, this variant can be had in a six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Notably, the updated Hyundai Venue S (O) Turbo variant costs Rs 10,75,200 (ex-showroom) for the MT and Rs 11,85,900 (ex-showroom) for the AT.
