New Bentley Continental GT Supersports breaks cover
The new Bentley Continental GT Superports has been revealed by the company, it is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine and it is the lightest Bentley in 85 years, with the most downforce.

- The twin-turbo V8 pushes 666 PS and 800 Nm
- Strictly limited to 500 individually-numbered examples
- Orders open by March 2026 and production starts Q4 2026
Bentley has brought back the performance number plate - Supersports which was introduced in 1925 for the first time. The powertrain of the new Supersports is non-hybrid and purely Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 is the heart of the car that pushes 666 PS and 800 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to the ZF eight-speed double clutch transmission that sends all the power to the rear wheels. The company claims a 0-100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds and the top speed is locked at 310 kmph. The Supersports is the first rearwheel drive Continental except for the Continental GT3 race cars in history.
The exterior design has a series of form-following-function developments to maximise downforce and save weight. A new front bumper integrates the front splitter and feeds cooling air to the engine and front brakes. The Carbon fibre dive planes, side sills, fender blades and a rear diffuser and fixed rear wing combine to generate more than 300 kg more downforce than a Continental GT Speed. The weight saving extends to the roof, which is now a carbon fibre panel with lower centre of gravity while maintaining structural stiffness.

Inside the two-seat cabin, there are new highly bolstered sports seats that have been positioned lower in the car, the rear cabin environment has been replaced with a carbon fibre and leather shell. Customers can choose from monotone, duo-tone and tri-tone interiors.
The company claims that the Supersports uses the largest brakes found on any modern production vehicle, up in the front 10-piston callipers bite on 440-mm Carbon-Silicon-Carbide discs and at the rear four-piston callipers choke 410-mm discs. The car also gets three drive modes- Sport mode, Bentley mode and Touring mode. The Supersports rides on 22-inch lightweight forged wheels.
The Bentley Continental GT Supersports orders will be opening in March with production beginning in Q4 2026 ahead of first deliveries at the start of 2027. The new Supersports will be available in the following countries and areas: UK, Europe (EU27 plus Switzerland and Turkey), USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.
