The Ather Rizta electric scooter has been spied during a video shoot, which could be for its television commercial. Notably, the new family-oriented e-scooter is all-set for a launch at the Ather Community Day, on 6 April. The company has already opened bookings for the Rizta for a token amount of Rs 999.

Ather Rizta: Design

As seen in the pictures, the Rizta e-scooter bears a conservative design, featuring boxy and chunky panels, that is suitable for a typical family scooter. It features a seamless-looking front and rear ultrawide lights. The picture also shows its floorboard, which appears somewhat sizable. Not to mention, the Rizta is claimed to offer the largest seat fitted to any scooter. There is also a large grab rail paired with a backrest, which seems to be available as an optional extra. Meanwhile, Ather is likely to offer single- and dual-tone colour schemes with the electric scooter.

Ather Rizta: Features

The Rizta will boast a digital display, probably colour TFT unit, similar to the 450X or 450S. Moreover, it is expected to come with an all-LED lighting, phone connectivity, ride modes, single disc brakes at both ends, telescopic front forks, fall-safe function, and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), among others. The Rizta could get some new and segment-first features, such as ABS.

Ather Rizta: Powertrain

Altough Ather currently offers the 450 lineup with two battery pack options (2.9kWh and 3.7kWh), the new Rizta e-scooter is likely to get a larger battery pack. This may offer longer range over performance, such as the 450X or 450 Apex. However, it may come with the same electric motor.

Ather Rizta: Price

The price of the Ather Rizta electric scooter is expected to range between Rs 1.10 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh. Once launched, the electric scooter will compete with models, namely the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Hero Vida V1.
