MG Windsor EV PRO launched at Rs 17.49 Lakh
JSW MG Motor India has launched the MG Windsor EV PRO at an introductory price of Rs 17.49 Lakh(ex-showroom), with BaaS(Battery-as-a-Service) pricing starting from Rs 12.49 Lakh + 4.5/km.
The Windsor EV PRO is powered by a 52.9 kWh prismatic cell battery offering a certified range of 449km(MIDC) in a single charge and supports fast-charging from 20-80% in just 50 minutes.
The electric MPV generates 136PS and 200Nm of torque. The car runs on 18-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels and features smart flush door handles, an illuminated front MG logo and a 2,700mm wheelbase. The vehicle features a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, a powered tailgate, dual-tone Ivory interiors with gold highlights and 135° reclining Aero Lounge rear seats.
The car interior includes a 15.6-inch GrandView touchscreen infotainment system, 80+ connected car features, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a 9-speaker Infinity audio system. Regarding safety, the Windsor EV PRO is equipped with Level-2 ADAS, which includes 12 major features like Traffic Jam Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking and Intelligent Headlamp Control.
Other noteworthy mentions include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Hill Hold, Electronic Stability Program and all-wheel disc brakes. The Windsor EV PRO also offers Vehicle-to-Load(V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V) technology, allowing users to charge appliances or other EVs directly from the car's battery.
The EV is supported by MG's e-Shield ownership package, offering a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, three years of roadside assistance and a 3-60 assured buyback plan with 60 per cent value retention after 3 years.
The Windsor PRO will be available in three new colour shades, i.e - Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver and Glaze Red.
