In a step towards this direction, the company has inaugurated its first franchise in Chennai. The franchise called KLN Motor Agencies is located in Ekkattuthangal and is the first of, planned ten franchise outlets set to open in Chennai in the coming three months. KLN Motor Agencies will be supported by the three COCO outlets which Mahindra has in Chennai which will provide crucial support needed to keep the franchise running. MFCS outlets are based on a simplified model in which spare parts are supplied through a cluster warehouse delivering parts according to the daily requirements posted by the service outlets, thus eliminating the need for keeping a big inventory.
MFCS outlets follow a stringent quality regimen and claim to source only quality spares. They also have an exhaustive 60 point check list for all the cars coming in to their workshops. The facility has skilled manpower, state of the art equipment along with services like free pickup and drop, online booking and cashless insurance.
The company is also looking to expand the total number of its workshops in India to 100 by the end of this year and is planning to open outlets in Delhi/NCR, Pune, Mumbai, Karnataka and Punjab.
