Mercedes-Benz India inaugurates new dealership in Hyderabad
Mercedes-Benz India has opened its second dealership in the city of Hyderabad. The new Silver Star showroom is located at 6-3-563, Erramanzil Colony, Banjara Hills Road, Somajiguda. The showroom is spread over an area of 20,000 sq. ft and has the capacity to display 11 cars. It is the biggest single floor Mercedes-Benz showroom across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
It was inaugurated by Roland Folger, managing director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India and Amith Reddy, principal owner of Silver Star. The Silver Star showroom also houses the Café Mercedes section, a dedicated area for Mercedes-Benz merchandise and accessories.
The Silver Star workshop is located at B 29 and 30, Industrial Estate, Sanathnagar. It is spread over an area of 50,000 sq. ft. It claims to have 27 productive and support bays which can service 6,000 cars annually. What makes it unique is that it is the country's first fully air conditioned authorized luxury car service bay. The showroom employs 42 staff while the workshop employs 48 staff.
The Silver Star outlet is Mercedes-Benz India's second dealership in Hyderabad and its fifth outlet across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. With the opening of this new outlet, the luxury carmaker now has 87 outlets across India. In 2016, the company has opened new outlets in Ahmedabad, Mangalore, Nagpur, New Delhi, Pune and Vijayawada.
