Maruti Suzuki retails 1.32 lakh passenger cars in November 2022
India's largest automaker Maruti Suzuki has put outs its sales numbers for November 2022. It sold a total of 1,59,044 vehicles, which comprised of domestic passenger and commercial vehicles, sales to other OEMs, and exports.

As for domestic passenger vehicle sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited retailed 132,395 passenger vehicles in the country, as against 113,017 units in the same period of 2021. Under the mini and compact vehicle category, the carmaker sold a total of 91,095 vehicles. This segment, which includes the Alto, S-Presso, Baleno, Dzire, Ignis, Celerio, Swift, Tour S and Wagon R, is the largest contributor to the brand's total sales.

Further, the sales volumes for the mid-size segment stood at 1,554 units. The Ciaz is the only car being sold in this segment. On the other hand, Maruti retailed 32,563 units of its utility vehicles, comprising the Brezza, Ertiga, S-Cross, XL6, and the Grand Vitara. Whereas, it sold 7,183 units of the Eeco under the van category.
Maruti Suzuki CNG line-up
Maruti recently expanded its CNG lineup with the launch of Alto K10 CNG, Baleno CNG, XL6 CNG, S-Presso CNG, and the Swift CNG. The carmaker also aims to offer more CNG-powered cars in India. It could soon introduce CNG versions of the Grand Vitara and Brezza.
