Maruti Suzuki expands its subscription model to Jaipur, Indore, Mangalore and Mysore
Maruti Suzuki launched its subscription model in July 2020 and now it's offered in 19 different cities of India. Maruti Suzuki has collaborated with three automotive subscription providers - Orix Auto Infrastructure Services, ALD Automotive India and Myles Automotive Technologies. With its partners, Maruti Suzuki aims to provide a tailor-made experience to its customers. As the brand has three major service providers, the customer can choose and have a tailor-made subscription model.
On the occasion, Mr Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director of Marketing and Sales at MSIL said, "Car subscription is a new and upcoming concept for the Indian market. We are regularly upgrading our Subscribe programme with learnings and feedback from customers. The marketplace model will offer more power to customers to select from a bouquet of options, as per their requirements. This will lead to competitive price offerings coupled with transparency of the process. With the addition of four new cities in our network, we look forward to serving more customers."
Maruti Suzuki is offering two highly-customised subscription plans, the first is the white plate subscription and the other is the black plate subscription. In the white plate subscription model, the tenure of subscription can be 12, 24, 36 or 48 months and the vehicle will be registered in the name of the customer. On the other hand, the black plate subscription model offers 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42 or 48 months tenure and the vehicle will be registered in the name of the alliance partner. The mileage can also be selected from 10,000 km to 25,000 km within the tenure of ownership.
