Maruti Suzuki Ertiga crosses 10 lakh unit sales milestone
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced that the Ertiga has crossed a 10 lakh unit sales milestone. The refreshed MPV has been on sale in India since 2012 and had received its last major facelift update in April 2022. According to the carmaker, the Ertiga has captured a market share of 37.5 per cent.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Sales Milestones
The Ertiga achieved the one lakh unit sales mark just a year after its introduction in 2013. Then, in 2019, the MPV reached the five lakh unit sales milestone, and it managed to achieve the next one lakh sales in a year. Additionally, Maruti exports the made-in-India Ertiga to over 80 countries across the globe.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Variants & Features
The brand offers the Ertiga in four variants: LXi (O), VXi, VXi (O), ZXi (O), and ZXi+. It also comes with two CNG-powered variants, namely VXi (O) and ZXi (O). Apart from that, the Ertiga is available in a choice of seven colour options.
In terms of features, it gets seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, analogue instrument cluster with an MID, Suzuki Connect with over 40 connected car functions, automatic headlamps, cruise control, halogen projector headlights, engine start/stop button, air-cooled cup holders, paddle shifters, four airbags, ESO, hill hold assist, smartwatch connectivity, Amazon Alexa support, and more.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Powertrain
Powering the MPV is the 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine with smart hybrid tech that makes 103PS and 136.8Nm of torque. Whereas, it produces 88PS and 121.5Nm in the CNG mode. The Ertiga with a five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission return a mileage of 20.51 kmpl and 20.30kmpl, respectively. On the other hand, the CNG gives out a fuel economy of 26.11 km/kg.
