Mahindra XUV700 gets its features list revised
Mahindra has subtly updated the XUV700's variant-specific features. The SUV's brochure has been modified by the automaker, who has added and eliminated features from a few of the model's variations.
The rear parking sensors, height-adjustable driver seat, follow-me-home headlights, and rear spoiler have been taken out of the entry-level MX models by the manufacturer. The rear wiper, defogger, and selective unlock for the doors and boot lid are no longer available with the Mahindra XUV700 AX3 versions.
LED sequential turn indicators are no longer included on the AX5 and AX7 trims. The adaptive cruise control capabilities are not available in the top-spec AX7L Manual variant. It now comes with standard cruise control.
The AX7 and AX7L versions both receive cruise control and LED sequential turn indicators as feature upgrades, while the AX7L AT model now has adaptive cruise control with stop and go capabilities.
The new mid-sized SUV comes in the MX and AX trim levels. The former is available in a 5-seat layout, while the AX trim comes in 5- and 7-seat arrangements. An additional feature package called the Luxury pack is available for the top-spec AX7 automatic trim and includes extras like a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, automatically deployable door handles, an electronic parking brake, and a blind spot monitor.
For the new model, Mahindra has had over 1.5 lakh orders. Nearly a lakh clients are still awaiting the delivery of their Mahindra XUV700. Currently, there is an almost two-year wait for the SUV.
