Suzuki Motorcycle India will launch the Burgman Street 125cc maxi scooter in India today, July 19. The Burgman Street is the first maxi scooter to be launched in India since the Kinetic Blaze. The Burgman Street, which shares its mechanicals with its popular stablemate, the Access 125 was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo in February. The Suzuki Burgman Street is the second maxi scooter to be launched in India after the Kinetic Blaze
The 125cc engine produces 8.7 PS and 10.2 Nm. kerb weight has increased by 8 kgs over the Access 125 due to the new bodywork.
The Burgman Street has a fully digital instrument cluster that resembles the unit on the Suzuki Gixxer 150/ Intruder 150.
The Suzuki Burgman Street features a long seat, massive underseat storage and a wide footboard. The rider can also stretch his/her legs on the board behind the front apron.
The Burgman Street is based on the same chassis as the Suzuki Access 125 and gets identical tyre and brake sizes
