It's been a week since Kia India started accepting pre-bookings for the Kia EV6 for a token amount of Rs 3 lakh, and now it's time for the grand launch of the highly anticipated entry of Kia into the Indian EV space. The Kia EV6 is only available via 15 Kia stores across India or Kia India's official website. The EV6 is Kia's most premium model in India, and it will be accessible to 100 customers. And finally the price for the Kia EV6. With just the one variant on offer, the GT Line, which comes with every comfort and convenience feature, including ADAS Level II, is priced at Rs 59.95 lakh and Rs 64.95 lakh for the AWD. Deliveries will begin in Sep 2022.
With 355 bookings, the Kia EV6 demand far outstrips the initial planned 100 units for the year. Kia India says more units will be brought into the country to fulfil the bookings.

The Kia EV6 also received a 5-star rating, showing the vehicle's outstanding safety qualities.
The two 12-inch screens are curved and are set in a single pane of glass for a seamless effect. An augmented reality HUD also shows driving information, navigation prompts, and ADAS functions while the UVO suite of connected-car features, now called Kia Connect, offers EV-related information. Finally, there is an optional 16-speaker Meridian audio system that plays audible sounds to correlate with driving.
The Kia EV6 will be available in two trim levels: GT and GT-Line AWD. While the RWD version has a maximum output of 229PS and 350 Nm of torque and the AWD version has a maximum output of 347PS and a peak torque of 605 Nm. The Kia EV6 can sprint from zero to 100 kmph in only 5.2 seconds and has an electronically regulated top speed of 192 kmph.
Kia's fleet of Kia Seltos, Kia Sonet, Kia Carnival, and Kia Carens will be joined by the EV6. Kia India will bring the EV6 to India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) approach.
