LIVE updates: 2018 Audi Q5 Petrol SUV launches in India today
Audi India is set to launch the 2018 Q5 Petrol SUV in the country today. The new petrol engine option is likely to be same 2.0-litre TFSI motor found on its larger stablemate, the Audi Q7 45 TFSI, and should have a power output of over 250PS and 370Nm of torque. It will come mated to a 7-speed dual clutch auto transmission. This second generation luxury SUV joins its diesel sibling, the Q5 30 TDI which was launched in India in January. Expect the Q5 petrol to have the same trim and equipment levels as the diesel. The presence of a petrol engine option could give the Q5 a leg up over the Volvo XC60 which is diesel-only. The Audi Q5 petrol has five modes under the Audi drive select feature and sports Quattro all wheel drive.
The Audi Q5 petrol has the most powerful engine in its class at 252PS, with a 237kmph top speed and 0-60kmph time of 6.3s.
