Launched 2013 Caterham Supersport R
Caterham is now offering its Seven Supersport with more power in the form of the Supersport R. The R gets a Ford-sourced 180PS 2.0-litre engine and weighs just 535kg. Torque ratings now stand at 194Nm. Caterham claims 0-100kmph times of just 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 209kmph. Mid-range power is said to have been improved. Apart from choosing to deck their car with Caterham-spec accessories, customers can also opt for a 6-speed box rather than the standard 5-speed manual.
In UK, the Seven Supersport R is priced at Rs 21.76 lakh.
