Launched 2012 Audi R8 Exclusive Selection edition
Before the 2013 R8 is launched next year, Audi are giving a fitting send-off to the 2012 version with the Exclusive Selection edition. Audi will be building only 50 specimens (30 V10s and 20 V8s) and while the Daytona Gray exterior paint will be available only with the V8, the Ibis White paint with black detailing will be exclusive to the V10.
The Audi R8 V8 will have unique 19-inch wheels, carbon fibre splitter, black elements on the grille, rear carbon fibre diffuser and red brake callipers, the V10 along with some of the other features from the V8, gets E-Tron 19 inch wheels. Interiors of both the cars will have new leather upholstery with contrast stitching and crimson elements, a new steering wheel and navigation system. The V10 has an option of a carbon fibre cockpit with white and black stitching. Pricing starts at Rs 75.98 lakh for the 6-speed manual V8 while the V8 with the R-tronic box retails at Rs 81 lakh . The V10 manual pricing starts at Rs 89.11 lakh, while the R-tronic transmission commands a premium of Rs 5 lakh over the manual's pricing.
Sadly though, the Exclusive Select edition will be available for sale only in US.
