Land Rover Defender 130 V8 debuts alongside Defender 130 Outbound

The iconic Land Rover Defender nameplate has gained the new sporty top-rung 500PS version, the Defender 130 V8. Not only that, the British marque has also introduced a luxurious Defender 130 Outbound edition alongside the new heritage-inspired and rugged County Exterior pack for the Defender 110.

Land Rover Defender 130 V8: Highlights
The key highlight of the Defender 130 V8 is the 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 petrol mill generating 500PS and 610Nm of torque. It takes the SUV to 100kmph from zero in just 5.7 seconds. Land Rover offers two special paint options: Carpathian Grey or Santorini Black. The Defender 130 V8 also gets quad exhaust tips, V8 badges, and 22-inch alloy wheels in Satin Dark Grey.

On the inside, the cabin has an Ebony Windsor leather upholstery trim combined with Dinamica suede cloth and Robustec fabric. Other features include 14-way heated and cooled front seats, four-zone temperature control, a Meridian sound system, and a heads-up display, among others. The steering wheel is wrapped in suede cloth and gets a heated function, while there is an Ebony Morzine headliner.

Land Rover Defender 130 Outbound: Details
The carmaker the Defender 130 Outbound edition features a five-seat layout, which "brings even greater potential for overland exploration and enables those with active and adventurous lifestyles to pack everything they need to get out and explore," says the automaker.

The five-seat Defender 130 Outbound offers a large boot space of 1,329 litres, which becomes 2,516 litres when the second-row seats are folded. Further, it gets subtle design updates, including Shadow Atlas Matt shade for the bumpers and grille, whereas the side vents are finished in Anthracite. Two wheel sizes are available: 20- and 22-inches, finished in Gloss Black and Shadow Atlas Matt, respectively.

Colour options for the Outbound edition include four shades: Fuji White, Santorini Black, Carpathian Grey and Eiger Grey. On the other hand, the interior upholstery can be had in two options: Windsor leather or durable Resist fabric. Moreover, the Ebony interior theme is paired with an Ebony Morzine headliner and Robustec veneer in standard. Land Rover further offers rubber floor mats, lashing points, and a new cargo net.

Land Rover Defender 110 County Exterior Pack: Details
The Defender 110 County Exterior pack draws inspiration from the original Defender County. This exterior pack is available in three 110 trim levels: S, SE, and HSE. As a part of the County Exterior pack, the Defender 110 features special graphics on the doors and illuminated treadplates with a Country graphic. The firm offers a set of 20-inch wheels with two finishes.

The colour options for the Defender 110 County include Fuji White with Tasman Blue roof, Santorini Black with Tasman Blue roof, and Tasman Blue with White roof. Inside, a wide range of colour schemes and upholstery options are available.
