Lamborghini, Volvo, Ford and Volkswagen to not attend Paris Motor Show
Automobile shows are one of the most important events for the manufacturers as well as audiences. While the manufacturers showcase their upcoming offerings in the form of a concepts and production ready models, it is here that audiences get to see all the brands under one roof. However, the audiences will be missing a host of brands from this year's Paris Motor Show. Brands like Lamborghini, Volvo and Ford have opted out of this event.
The automobile shows around the world have reported a downfall in participation of brands and that can be credited to the huge investments in terms of marketing spends required by these brands. Volkswagen has stated earlier that the German automobile brand has been evaluating the merits of its participation in such auto shows. VW chose to remain absent from the Frankfurt Motor Show and the Detroit Motor Show. Additionally, VW also did not attend the 2018 iteration of Delhi Motor Show. Even though the parent company has chosen to opt out, other brands like Audi, SEAT and Porsche will be establishing their presence at the 2018 Paris Motor Show
Brands like Suzuki, Lexus, Jaguar, Land Rover, Toyota, Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz will be present at the 2018 Paris Motor Show that is scheduled to take place between October 2-14, 2018.
