KTM displays competition spec 350 SX-F in India
Racing was not the only exciting event that happened at the Orange Day in Mumbai. KTM also showcased their competition spec 350 SX-F. Before you get excited, we're going to go ahead and tell you that this bike is not street legal. It is only for competition use. We are spoiling the party further by saying that this bike will most likely not come to India. At least not anytime in the near future. So then why this drama?
This bike as well as more of its dirt-inclined siblings will be set up for display at various KTM showrooms across the country. This is KTM's effort at reiterating their global image as an offroad motorcycle manufacturer. We feel that with the fan following that the 200 Duke has in the country, KTM's image has been slanting towards that of a manufacturer, er, manufacturing naked street bikes in India. The main portfolio for KTM the world over has been competition spec SX and SX-F series as well as the EXC and EXC-F series endure bikes. And what better way to familiarize India with this image than by displaying their legendary bikes at the showrooms.
