Kia Sonet facelift launched; prices start at Rs 7.99 lakh
The Kia Sonet facelift has been launched in India with introductory prices starting at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The sub-four-meter SUV is offered in seven variants - HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+, and X-Line, featuring three engines and five transmission options.
Kia Sonet facelift: Colours
The South Korean automaker provides the SUV in 11 paint schemes, including Imperial Blue, Sparkling Silver, Glacier White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Clear White, Gravity Grey, Matte Graphite, and a new Pewter Olive, along with Intense Red and Glacier White Pearl paired with a black roof. On the other hand, Kia offers a range of five colour themes for the interior, including a fresh addition.
Kia Sonet facelift: Powertrains
The Sonet facelift is equipped with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 83PS and 115Nm, a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol motor with 120PS and 172Nm, and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel unit that produces 116PS and 250Nm. Transmission options include a five-speed manual, six-speed iMT, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, six-speed torque converter automatic, and a six-speed manual.
Kia Sonet facelift: Features
The Sonet facelift introduces a new 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also features ADAS with 10 functions, a 360-degree camera, rear window sunblinds, Hindi-English voice commands, a valet mode, remote window control, all-window one-touch up and down, over 70 connected car features, and a powered driver seat. Additional highlights include ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, an electric sunroof, an air purifier, a Bose sound system, and ambient lighting. Standard safety features include six airbags, ESC, VSM, and more.
